”Twas the night before surgery and all through the house, every creature was stirring especially my spouse. The Pink stocking was hung from the chimney with care, many called, texted & visited, with well wishes and prayers.
The children were snuggled with daddy and friends, While watching Buddy the Elf instead of going to bed.
Momma Tresa watching The movie and I in my cap, hanging with my bro while he enjoys a nitecap.
When all of a sudden they started dropping like flys, I knew at that moment bedtime was in sight. First Gina, then Julia, now Tresa, then Jimmy! Off goes Kelly, then Troy, then Maria says good night. 
Away they flew to their rightful slumber. Hugs and Kisses to All & to All a Goodnight!

As I reflect on the past 24 hours I realize how incredibly lucky I am to have so many people in my life that care about me. The past 24 hours alone have been so full of friends and family reaching out that I want to thank everyone again and again and again for making this a bit easier.
It’s 11:55 and I’m about to go take a nice long shower with the fabulous pre-shower anti-bacterial soap they gave me. I’m not allowed to put on any lotions, potions, deodorant and such – apologies in advance hubs?
I’ve managed to keep myself busy all day as to not really think about what’s next. I’m pretty bummed-out and mostly pissed about what’s next. But it’s just another bump in the road that I’ll get past.
And the next time I post…I’ll literally be a new woman?
